Paris Expérimental editions were created the 15th of November 1983 in Paris by Giovanna Puggioni, Christian Lebrat and Prosper Hillairet who were aiming to publish reference works of experimental and avant-garde cinema. Paris Expérimental has also organized several events and co-edit boxes sets of VHS and DVD with the video editions Re:Voir Vidéo and Light Cone distributor. Paris Expérimental chairman is Christian Lebrat.

<컨셉션>은 생의 기원에 관한 원시적 형상을 해독하려는 미니멀리스틱한 시도로, 시네마의 진정한 본질에 더 가까이 다가서기 위해 의식적으로 불가능한 목표를 설정해 ‘퍼포먼스'적 실천을 기반으로 끊임 없이 영화적 요소를 분해하고 재조립하는 실험이며 개념(컨셉션)과, 소리, 무빙이미지의 합성이다.
Conceptión is a minimalistic perusal of a world-view based on the shattering of the primal egg - and experiments with the elements of cinema, deconstructing and reassembling distinct cinematic ingredients with the consciously impossible aim of getting closer to the true essence of cinema: a synthesis of concept, sound, and moving images.
다양한 도시들이 프리즘으로 만들어진 여러 색의 직조물로 녹아드는 일종의 여행기. 반복적으로 빛에서 어둠으로, 좁은 골목에서 고속도로를 가로지르며, 여러 곳을 여행하며 마주하는 낯선 주변환경은 멀리 그리고 공간을 찰나적으로 다가온다. 볼렉스를 들고 경련스럽게 움직이는 모습은 구경꾼들의 시선을 붙잡고, 내 목을 고통스럽게 한다. 프로젝터 사이의 확고한 안무는 대륙 사이를 휘젓고 다니며 몇 달간의 긴 여행의 시간을 단 몇 분으로 붕괴시킨다.
A lack of familiarity with these surroundings breed a distant and fleeting view of space - repeatedly navigating from light to dark; alleyway to the highway. This spastic dance with the Bolex turns the heads of onlookers and leaves my neck sore. An unwavering choreography between projectors collapses months to minutes; swiping between continents.
그는 카메라로 집, 거리, 사람들을 찍는다. 그는 사람들로 하여금 말하도록 하고 그에 대해 자기 의견을 말하지 않으면서 선택한다. 그렇게 해서 그는 파편화된 조각에서 산업지역의 모습을 그려내고 변화하는 풍경을 보여주고 노동자의 운동을 드러낸다. 그리고 우리 눈앞에서 세계는 일관성을 갖게 되고 새로운 모습으로 나타난다. 우리는 세계를 새로운 일관성으로 보게 된다.
Obviously the simplest thing in the world, and at the same time the most difficult. He aims his camera on houses, streets, on people. He lets individuals speak, makes choices without comment; that’s how with scattered pieces he puts together the setting of an industrial city, a changing landscape, a circle of workers. And in a coherent manner, in front of our eyes, a world is formed anew; we see the world in a new coherence.
